Aug. 21: The GreatFIT Games
The GreatFIT Games are back! Last year’s inaugural GreatFIT Games were a great experience, and this year — co-hosted by CrossFit Sioux Falls — is shaping up to be even better.
The GreatFIT Games are a fitness competition designed to test your aerobic, calisthenic and Olympic lifting ability. This is accomplished through lifts such as cleans, snatches and dead lifts; body-weight movements such as pullups and pushups; and rows and runs for distance.
The GreatFIT Games will utilize a coed team format consisting of two individuals per team.
This event will be scored and will have Rx and Scaled divisions. The teams with the most points at the end of the four events will place first through third in each division and win a package of prizes, including cash. All events will be held Aug. 21 at the Harrisburg GreatLIFE, with the option to check in Friday night or Saturday morning before the first event.
