GreatLIFE Appoints Nick Ovenden to Oversee Fitness Operations
Sioux Falls, South Dakota (February 21, 2014) – GreatLIFE Malaska Golf & Fitness Club is proud to announce the appointment of Nick Ovenden as GreatLIFE Director of Fitness and Nutrition.
A 2006 graduate of Augustana College, Ovenden pursued his lifetime passion for fitness and nutrition after college, making personal training the focus of his career. He has a broad base of skills, knowledge and experience, training people of all ages one-on-one and in larger groups. Prior to his joining GreatLIFE, he was the assistant manager at the largest Life Time Fitness in Minneapolis where he received recognition for his training and management skills.
“I have been blessed with being able to do something I love every day! All of my life I have been passionate about exercise and helping people live better, healthier lives. About four years ago, I decided to take a step into the nutrition world and haven’t looked back since. Sioux Falls is home to me so I’m overjoyed to be able to give back to the community that has given me so much,” said Nick.
President Thomas P. Walsh, Sr. is happy to have Nick on board. “Nick has had great success during his career as a trainer and a manager, and has lots of experience. He’s worked not only with adults, but also with young people, and he understands our goals and our mission.”
