PLAYEverything

Our mission is to empower students to become the best version of themselves by fostering their growth of key life skills through the teaching of sport, fitness and nutrition.

We teach sport skill development, healthy eating habits and help keep kids active through programming with the Sioux Falls School District, Boys & Girls Club and the Salvation Army.

Our Programs

We are currently offering FREE sport, fitness and nutrition programming in eight Sioux Falls School District schools with over 250 students impacted each year!

Community Campus: Students from the Community Campus come to our GreatLIFE facilities to work out, play basketball and swim. Every other week, a group volunteers to work our Woodlake and 41st & Sertoma locations, learning valuable life skills and gaining work place skills.

InSports PLAY Golf Program: Students from the Boys & Girls club play golf and eat dinner at Willow Run Golf Course over the course of summer. They learn the rules of golf, how to play, and golf etiquette.

Weight Room Certification Program: Students are taken through an eight-week weight room certification course where they learn gym etiquette, how to use different machines, how to write workout programming and more.

GreatLIFE GiveBACK: Every December, schools that have taken on the PLAYEverything Program are gifted items that they are in need of. These items are donated from GreatLIFE members, sorted, and delivered to the schools.

PLAYEverything: A sports program occurring at Sioux Falls schools before, during, and after school. Each month, a different sport is taught through a variety of sport-specific drills and games. Life skills are taught through the accompanying GamePLAN booklet.

Field Trips: PLAYEverything lines up various free field trips for students, such as visiting the football fields at Augustana University and University of Sioux Falls, bowling at Suburban Lanes, and attending Canaries baseball games (just to name a few!)

Service-Learning Volunteer Opportunity: Every year, PLAYEverything accepts volunteers from the University of Sioux Falls. Volunteers are Exercise Science students who must volunteer 30 hours total. These students help in various ways, including teaching sports, chaperoning field trips, and being a role model.
