You made it through winter, you nearly made it through the pandemic, so who doesn’t deserve a massage?
Revitalize by GreatLIFE has seen demand all along, leading to an expanded space inside Woodlake Athletic Club and now a bigger team.
Kaitlyn Swartz moved to Sioux Falls in early 2020 after graduating from massage school in Fargo. After working in various places, she recently discovered GreatLIFE and decided to join the team.
“Everybody is on the same page, trying to help people better their lives in one way or another – physical or mental – and that’s where I want to take my career,” she said.
In massage therapy, she especially enjoys deep tissue massages and stretching designed to help clients therapeutically.
“Revitalize by GreatLIFE is really nice,” she added. “We’re one of the first doors you walk in at Woodlake, and it has a relaxing but very professional vibe. All the team members and clients have been super welcoming. It makes it easy to want to be at work.”
Swartz joining the team brings Revitalize to four massage therapists, so there generally are at least three available.
“Kaitlyn has a really great touch and is willing to tailor the message however the client would like,” said Carrie Sack, senior massage therapist.
“Guests are absolutely loving our new space and services, so it’s nice to be able to have enough clientele to keep four therapists busy.”
Massage services are open to members and nonmembers, though members receive a discounted rate.
The team recently added cupping to its services, which is similar to a deep tissue massage only “instead of pushing down, the cup creates a suction and pulls heat up and out of the body to loosen muscles in a different way and bring blood flow to the area faster,” Sack said. “A lot of athletes use it.”
Other services include Swedish massage, aromatherapy, prenatal massage, sports massage, trigger point massage and the popular Himalayan salt stone massage.
“We occasionally can accommodate walk-in clients but really encourage reservations,” Sack said.
